The Edwards Signaling Duct Detector is a smoke detector designed for installation in air ducts. It operates on 16-30V DC and provides a Form C alarm contact rated at 10A @ 125VAC. The detector uses an ionization type smoke sensor and provides 360° smoke detection coverage. It features an LED status indicator and test switch. The housing is made of 18 gauge steel with an epoxy finish. It comes with gasket seals and sampling tubes for easy duct mounting. The operating temperature range is 32-131°F. This duct smoke detector provides reliable smoke detection for HVAC system protection.

The Edwards Signaling Heat Detector Rate Compensation is a fixed temperature heat detector designed for open area protection. It has a 135°F/57°C fixed temperature rating and rate compensation that adjusts sensitivity based on rate of temperature rise for reliable fire detection. The detector provides a 360° field of detection coverage. It has a low profile design with a white finish and operates on 24V systems. The detector meets UL 521 and CSFM standards. It can provide open area protection in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.

The Edwards Signaling Heat Detector 16X276 is a fixed temperature heat detector designed to activate an alarm at a predetermined temperature. It has a 135°F activation temperature and uses a eutectic alloy sensor. The detector provides open area protection with 15' spacing capability. It features a rate compensation design that eliminates false alarms. The heat detector has a low profile design with a white finish and mounts to a 4" square box. It is UL listed and meets NFPA 72. The Edwards 16X276 provides reliable heat detection for commercial fire alarm systems.

The 566 Organic Vapor Monitor is our most versatile and popular organic vapor badge. The 566 utilizes our ChemDisk II configuration with a flexible, inert charcoal wafer, making it smaller and much easier to use than other badges on the market. The 76-hole sampling grid allows for sampling rates around 8 mL/min. While the 8-hour reporting limits vary from chemical to chemical (see our Sampling Guide), most are in the 0.1 ppm range, well below most OSHA PELs and NIOSH RELs. In addition, the 566 badge has much more sampling capacity than most other badge and tube methods.
